Cascade Waxing saturates the corrugated box with wax. This provides an exceptionally strong, nearly-waterproof container.

The process is essential to create boxes for fresh fish, meats and produce.

1. Finished boxes, on edge, travel under a series of troughs, which cascade molten wax evenly over the boxes.
2. They continue through a heated tunnel. The high temperature keeps the wax flowing into the fibres while the excess runs off the surface.
3. This is followed by a cooling section, where the drop in temperature sets the wax.
